Hello and welcome back to #WeddingWednesday! As winter weather is in full force here at Honeyfund headquarters we decided to look towards warmer weather with honeymoon inspired cocktail, DIY and a great bargain on a honeymoon essential!
Signature Cocktail: Winter “Sea Breeze”
Winter Sea Breeze
A traditional sea breeze is one of the most popular tropical cocktails. Today we bring you a winter sea breeze to help you dream about an upcoming honeymoon or summer trip. This is a great, refreshing drink that would make a great signature cocktail for your wedding or event.
Ingredients:
- 1 oz vodka (1/8 cup)
- 1 oz grapefruit juice (1/8 cup)
- 1/2 oz tonic syrup (2 tablespoons)
- 2 oz soda water (1/4 cup)
- 12 pomegranate seeds, blueberries or cranberries
- 3 mint leaves (for garnish)
Directions:
- Fill your class with ice
- Add grapefruit, tonic syrup and soda water
- Stir well
- Add fruit

DIY: Honeymoon Inspired “Do Not Disturb” Sign
DIY: Do Not Disturb sign
Our DIY today is definitely honeymoon inspired, a cute “Do Not Disturb” sign. This would be great addition to a couple’s honeymoon survival kit (other things can include a gift off their honeyfund, advil, sunscreen…). Another cute way to use these is to personalize them with your wedding colors to put in a welcome basket for the guests at your wedding. They could say something like “Do Not Disturb. We were up all night partying at Sara & Josh’s wedding!”
Supplies
- Scrapbook paper (several patterns from your or honeymoon wedding theme)
- Scissors
- Glue
- Letters (stickers, stamps, stencils)
- Hole punch
- Ribbon
Directions:
- Choose a pattern of scrapbook paper for the main part of your sign and cut
- Cut hearts or other shapes out of other pieces of paper and glue onto your sign
- Add your lettering
- Hole punch at the top
- Loop your ribbon through the hole (so you can hang)
