As a software engineer at Honeyfund, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing the code for Honeyfund and Plumfund. We embrace people who provide technical leadership, think creatively, work collaboratively and produce superior results. Technology moves fast and so do we. If you've mastered whatever technologies, languages, or development environments you've been using, and have the ability to quickly master any technology, language, or development environment that we may need in the future – we want to talk to you!

  • Hands-on development of world-class design, implementation and features from concept phase to final output.
  • Develop a variety of given projects within specified standards and adjust to recommended revisions.
  • Work directly with Engineers, Designers and Executive Leaders to achieve goals.‪

  • BS (or equivalent) in Computer Science or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years experience building polished consumer-facing websites.
  • Minimum 2 years experience building web apps with Laravel 5.x.

  • You are comfortable working on both low-level functions and architecting a large system involving multiple technologies.

We are looking for someone with the ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced environment where meeting deadlines is crucial. You should be able to work independently with little supervision and have obsessive attention to detail. Our current needs focus around a qualified individual that has a strong understanding of all aspects of web design and coding ability which includes general web functionality, web standards and best practices.

  • BA (or equivalent) in graphic design or related fields.
  • Strong portfolio samples of websites/graphic work to show and discuss in interview
  • Experience meeting with stakeholders to discuss objectives for sites, funnels and apps, and other online projects
  • Create concepts in design programs such as Balsamiq Mockups, Sketch, Adobe XD, Omnigraffle, Photoshop and/or Illustrator
  • Provide expert creative guidance on the overall look, feel and functionality of design projects
  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
  • Knowledge of responsive design and progressive enhancement
  • Experience creating and optimizing HTML e-mail
  • Up to date knowledge of SEO best practices
  • Experienced with using web analytics to improve conversions
  • UX/UI design experience/abilities, creating compelling artwork (including images, icons, banners) and layouts that are appealing and user-friendly
  • Create and prepare website design, including the visual look & feel, graphics, styles, navigation and layout, by using standard HTML/CSS practices and prepare "wire-frame" for mobile, tablet, and desktop for review and approval
  • Conduct quality assurance work to identify possible problems before launch

Responsibilities...

  • Responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches to development teams
  • Review and analyze product code according to system specifications
  • Create logs to document testing phases and defects
  • Assist with trouble shooting issues
  • Conduct post-release and post-implementation testing
  • ‪Work directly with Engineers, Scrum Master and Executive Leaders to achieve goals and ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle‪

  • BS/BA (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 years experience delivering polished consumer-facing websites
  • Minimum 2 years experience using automated testing
  • ‪Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role with experience in project management and implementing QA methodology at an enterprise level
