As the weather is starting to cool and we are heading into the holiday season, we thought it would be fun to share some ideas to warm up your winter wedding or celebration, as well as some great ideas for taking advantage of holiday sales when shopping for your wedding.

Signature Cocktail: Irish Coffee
Today’s signature drink is a classic: Irish Coffee. This is a simple and delicious drink that can easily be personalized by using your favorite whiskey or adding a flavored creamer. What a way to warm up your guests, serve this signature cocktail at coffee hour following dinner!
Irish Coffee Ingredients
- Hot coffee (4 parts)
- Irish whiskey(2 parts)
- 1 tsp. Brown sugar
- Half-n-half or cream
- Whipped cream (1 1/2 parts)
Directions
- Brew coffee
- Mix ingredients
- Top with fresh cream
- Cheers!

DIY: Cocoa Favors
Another fun way to warm up your guests is to send them home with these cute DIY cocoa favors. These favors are really cost effective, the jars can be picked up on sale at craft stores, hardware stores etc (these came from the dollar bin at target WITH the cute tag and sticker¦SCORE). These are easily customized with labels and tags, as well as using a variety of mini alcohols, we use whiskey but Kalua or Baileys are also great choices! Make sure to leave the booze off for those non drinkers in attendance.

Supplies
- Mason Jar
- Hot Cocoa
- Marshmallows
- Mini Alcohol bottle (whiskey, kalaua, Baileys)
- Ribbon, twine
- Sticker, tag, etc
Instructions
- Pour cocoa into jar
- Top with marshmallows
- Use twine to tie bottle on
- Attach tag, sticker etc
