This is a signature cocktail of the Brooklyneer, it is a delicious vodka drink with lemon, ginger and kombucha! This cocktail is a perfect summer drink for a wedding. It is a specialty of The Brooklyneer, a great venue for a wedding after party. A great idea for your wedding is to find a unique location to move the party after the reception ends!

Jessica Bishop from the Budget Savvy Bride

Jessica has been running the website Budget Savvy Bride for eight years, a site designed to help couples plan budget friendly weddings. Jessica shared a few great cost saving tips with #WeddingWednesday:

1. Cut the guest list. Jessica shared with us that the BIGGEST way to cut costs is to invite fewer guests, every guest adds the cost of a meal, place setting, etc.

2. Creative alternatives to a traditional wedding, for example a wedding brunch! Brunch food is less expensive, venues are often cheaper at that time of day. A couple from Jessica’s site did a donut cake instead of an expensive wedding cake for their brunch wedding, we love everything about that idea!
