#WeddingWednesday ep 12

#WeddingWednesday ep 12. Spring inspired lemon drops and DIY mini champagne favors.

Happy Wednesday!  What a great episode we had this week. Our hosts both spent a week out of town and brought some fun ideas inspired by their travels.  Our signature cocktail, a fresh take on the lemon drop, will have you craving spring! And our DIY is a double cost-saving idea.

Both Sara & Caitie spent time out of town last week, and had some fun experiences to share with viewers. Caitie spent a week in Darby, Montana and shared the story of Bandit Brewery (on instagram  @jc,bandit beer). While Sara was in Scottsdale she found herself partying in a western-themed event space.  This made us think about how fun it is to incorporate those things that help define you as a couple into your wedding venues. Like local beer? Find a small brewery with a cool backstory to provide the beer and help publicize for them.  Enjoy country music?  Why not find a venue that reflects that?

Signature Cocktail: Raspberry Lemon Drop

This is such a gorgeous and festive cocktail for any spring event.  It is a refreshing spin on the traditional lemon drop. We picture this cocktail at a bridal shower — or as a signature cocktail at a spring wedding.
