Thank you for taking the time to check out our Honeyfund page! The Gold Coast Derby Grrls are a skater owned and operated, not for profit 501(4)(c) league. All our expenses are covered from fundraisers and skaters paying dues. We put a lot of time and hard work into raising money so we can travel the country and compete against the best teams in the world. In addition, we love bringing our local fans the best rollerderby around at our home bouts. At the end of the day, its a blast, and very expensive. Please look around and see if there is any gift you would like to buy for your favorite derby grrl!!! Any amount is greatly appreciated.

Hello Florida Derby Leagues,

Gold Coast Derby Grrls are cordially inviting you to participate in the Sunshine Skate Smackdown at the War Memorial in Fort Lauderdale Fl, on August 3,4 & 5. During this tournament we are hoping to create an exciting environment for Florida Derby.

There is a low entrance fee per skater, for the three day tournament. To create a fun environment in addition to standard tournament play, there will be open co-ed scrimmages and contests such as long jump, fastest endurance skater, and fastest backwards skater for prizes. As a grand prize, the winner of the tournament will take home $1000 and the second place winner will take home $500.

There will be a guarantee of at least two bouts per tournament play, and there will be a daily open scrimmage as well as daily contests to participate in. Prizes will also be awarded to MVP Jammer and Blocker for the tournament.

From Now thru July 15 the skater rate is $25

From July 15-August 2 the skater rate is $35

At the door the skater rate is $45

WFTDA/USSAR’s Proof of insurance is required at the time of registration and payment.

Referees and NSO’s are welcome to participate for free.

An email will be released next week with a website for registration.

Please understand due to logistics, it will be first come first serve for tournament play.
