Hello friends and family,

I know David and Melissa are honored that you took the time to even visit the page. They count themselves blessed to have such amazing people in their lives. ❤️ David and Melissa made Calhoun, GA their home about 12 years ago. They have lived in their current rental home for 11 years. After deciding they were going to rent for another year, they received the news that the City of Calhoun was buying the current property. David and Melissa are school teachers and have 5 kids ranging in age from 7-15. Melissa has also owned and operated a Cookie Business out of this rental home for about 9 years now. Not only did they lose their home, but they also lost her place of business. God has already worked MIRACLE after MIRACLE for them to get pre-approved, find a home, and close on July 6th. It is a nice house with land, and big enough for their family, however, there are expenses that have to be covered immediately after they close. For Example, they have 3 dogs and the fence has to be finished so both they and our grand-children are safe from the Highway traffic. U-Haul, Storage fees, etc start to add up as well. They are not people who ask for help. They give so much to their community, but ask for very little. They have faith that the Lord will provide one way or the other, but several have asked how they can help. Moves, New Houses, New Bedrooms, etc are EXPENSIVE. My grand kids are already hollering for new things for their rooms. Melissa keeps telling them they have to focus on getting the HOUSE first and the rest they will have to do later. Thank you to every friend, family member, and customer that has loved on them, their babies, and just overall been there for them. We love you all!
