Hello friends and family,

As many of you know, we got engaged on 4/4/2020 in the early stages of California's stay-at-home orders. We set our tentative marriage date for May 15, 2021 (more than a year in advance) because we wanted the restrictions to be lifted before the date so that we could invite all our family and friends to participate. Unfortunately, as the 1 year anniversary of our engagement rolled around it was obvious that we could not have the huge wedding that we wanted to have, so we decided to elope on our scheduled wedding date with just a few of our family members. It was a hard decision to make, but ultimately, we wanted to get married so that we could start a family as soon as possible... our 40's are quickly approaching. We are planning a 1 year anniversary party to be the big reception that we couldn't have under the current circumstances. I hope you will join us on our special day in 2022...

We want everyone to know we're lucky to already have a home full of everything we need, so please do not feel obligated to buy us something out of tradition because we feel that your presence in our life is the best gift for which we could ask.
