We are going back to Africa, the continent that brought us together, this time for our dream honeymoon.
We'll be landing in Kigali and spend some time visiting the genocide memorial.
Then, we'll drive to Goma and start a four-day trip inside Virunga national park. It includes seeing trekking to see mountain gorillas in one of their last natural habitats on earth and a hike up Mount Nyiragongo, a huge volcano with the world's largest lava lake.
We're staying at a gorgeous lodge inside the park. We're then driving to the Rwanda side of Lake Kivu, where we'll see some hot springs, do some kayaking and enjoy the lake.
From there, we're off to South Africa for a couple of days, and then back home, with another great adventure to tell our grandchildren about :)
