Portugal

We will be honey-mooning in Lisbon and on the little island of Madeira, Portugal! The island is full of culture, good wine, and great food (and the childhood home of Cristiano Ronaldo!). The country's capital of Lisbon is rich in history and culture. We cannot wait to spend time in this country! Kelsey has always wanted to visit Portugal being of Portuguese descent and having grown up in a prodominately Portuguese community. After we starting dating Shawn started to try the local cuisine and become acclimated to the culture which made him become really interested in visiting Portugal. We chose Madeira because of how vibrant the island is and how it is known as Europe's best kept secret (and the wine, all the wine) and while being overseas, why not visit the country's capital!
