Hello friends and family,

What a whirlwind of a year! With everything going on in our lives our wedding ended up being a little bit non-standard, you could say, as we decided to tie the knot with just immediate family there on June 18th (our 5 year anniversary!). While we wish we could have celebrated with all our extended friends and family, we simply couldn't wait and decided to just go for it :) We gathered at Adriane's family cabin on the Oregon coast near Lincoln City and had a beautiful ceremony officiated by her brother. It was intimate, touching, and full of laughter. We miss you all and hope to be able to see you soon, but in the meantime, thank you for always supporting us and loving us in all that we do.

Continuing the life updates, if you haven’t heard then here it goes: WE’RE MOVING (you thought we were going to say pregnant didn’t you, HA! No). we are officially hopping the pond and moving to Germany! Adriane has accepted a role at the global adidas HQ (#ThreeStripeLife) and will begin September 1st. Alex was also accepted into a Master’s Engineering program at the University of Erlangen and will officially be earning his last name as a McMaster. We will be living in Nuremburg and yes we plan to bring the cat (pray for us to the Xanax Gods).

Below you will find some registry options but please DO NOT feel obligated at all to contribute anything to this registry. Since our wedding was nonstandard we think it only stands to reason that the gift situation be nonstandard too! If you would like to gift us something, we do apologize for the impersonal cash registry... with the big move approaching quickly, we are executing a sizeable purge. In fact, as your gift to us, you can even come over and take things from our house that you like so that we don’t have to transport them to Goodwill. Given this, we are not really in a position to be taking on many more things at the moment... but if you have something specific and sentimental in mind for us, we would of course love to have it to think of you and put in our eventual longer term home :)

** the story on the lemons: Colin and Adriane have a weird inside joke where Colin would roll lemons at Adriane which in turn would make her go full silent guffaw (if you know you know). This has been a lifelong joke, so as Colin was officiating the wedding, he stood in front of a podium he had built, and halfway through the ceremony pulled a secret lever and about 15 lemons came pouring out of the podium onto the floor: cue a group guffaw as pictured!!!! we're weird, but we like it :)
