Richard and I met in Heidelberg, Germany in the Spring of 2017. I was attending Pepperdine University and studying abroad in Heidelberg and he was visiting some of his friends who lived in a nearby city. We stayed connected that summer through texting and FaceTime, and in the Fall, he ended up surprising me in Malibu, CA for the weekend! We started dating soon after that, and did 2 years of long distance.

I moved to Houston, TX in the Spring of 2019 after I graduated and we got engaged on October 22nd 2021 (our 4 year dating anniversary!)
