New Zealand

David is from New Zealand, and Meghan has never been there - what a great chance to see the old country! Hopefully, we'll be able to make our way down the two main islands from North to South to make the pilgrimage down from the black sand beaches of Piha (and maybe some yacht racing in the Bay of Islands) through mock-Hobbiton (Meghan insists!!!) and the Weta Workshop where it was all born. Then over the Interislander to get to the real New Zealand on the mainland, all wine-tastings, whales, and penguins. Finally, we'll hook up from Dunedin to Wanaka, the two places from coastal to central Otago where David grew up - over Saddle Hill, through the Taieri plains, up the Manuka Gorge and over the Clutha River, up past the orchards and outcrops of Roxburgh and Alex on through the high mountain valleys past Cromwell, bending slowly left to reveal the great Southern Alps - to meet family and friends and celebrate again our love and union!
