Curaçao

Dushi! Meaning "sweetheart" in Curaçao's native language, Papiamentu, a creole blend of African, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, French, English, and Arawak Indian, is often used to express love or gratitude for someone. Curaçao is famous for it's orange-flavored liqueur by the same name. Located about 40 miles off the coast of Venezuela, Curaçao is a constituent of the Kingdom of Netherlands and is the largest of the "ABC" islands of the Dutch Antilles. The capital city of Willemstad is a UNESCO World Heritage site known for it's iconic colorful buildings. The beaches are some of the best beaches in the Caribbean known for their crystal clear blue waters.
