Love Story:

On August 4th, 2019 we matched on Bumble; a dating app where the women start the conversation. Jordan was very adamant on what qualified a suitable candidate, and selfie’s were not one of them. Luckily, for Blake, the family dog Russell stole the show, and Jordan decided to give him a shot. We discussed the most recent film by Tarantino and Jordan’s travels to Europe. Within a few text messages, we knew we wanted to meet in person. That Thursday, we went on our first date at Gram and Dunn… and then proceeded to get together the next 5 out of 7 days.. yeah, I’d say our love grew quickly. Within four months we were going on our first vacation together, moving in together, and shortly after, experiencing the isolation of COVID-19. I think it’s safe to say that we were ready to take our next big step, moving halfway across the USA to the Pacific Northwest. Christmas 2020 Blake had all intentions of proposing to Jordan at the lighting ceremony on the Plaza, however, the pandemic prevented us from travel, so Blake planned a trip to our favorite spot in Oregon, Cannon Beach, where he proposed to Jordan on December 26th, 2020, and of course, Jordan said, “are you serious?!! YES!” We returned back to KCMO in August of 2021 to continue our love story with family and friends, where it all started.

Wedding:

We are scheduled to say "I Do" on December 17th, 2021 in the mountains of Colorado with immediate family.

Reception:

Following the Wedding, please join us to celebrate our love in KCMO at Boulevard Brewing Company Rec Deck on February 20th, 2022 from 6PM - 9PM.

Honeymoon:

We began a life together almost immediately, therefore, are not in need of traditional registry items. We are asking for monetary donations for our honeymoon in August, 2022. We will be honeymooning in Kauai, Hawaii where we will enjoy some of our favorite things; mountains, ocean, fresh food, and the aloha spirit!
