Greetings!

Old traditions ain’t our thing,

as I’m sure you know by now,

Considering those twigs, that dress,

and how we wrote our vows.

 

We’ve done things a little backwards,

Bought the home before the rings,

We even reno’d the kitchen

and filled it with our things.

 

So if you’d like to give a gift

to celebrate the day,

a beer, a meal, an adventure,

or a place for us to stay.

 

While we tour the coastline

From Seattle to the dunes

The Fruit Loop in Hood River,

and Pickathon’s country tunes.

 

We’d love to take you with us,

but there’s only room for two,

a little help for our honeymoon

is all we ask of you.

We'll be hitting the road and down the Washington/Oregon Coast in August. Saturday night taking in the flavours of Seattle, Sunday afternoon in the Finnish town of Astoria, and a relaxing few days on Cannon Beach (with some less-than-relaxing intermittent dune buggy-ing on Sand Lake).

 

Next up is our beloved Pickathon music festival in aptly named Happy Valley. Four days of the best music, food, beer, and company us newlyweds could ask for.

 

After we clean ourselves up, we'll head to Hood River to our favourite brewery in North America (and that's saying something!) Pfreim! Take in the sights and do the ol' fruit loop before heading back to Portland.

 

Portland. The best gosh darn city in the world. We will settle in for the remainder of our stay and wing it from there. There's always an adventure waiting for us in Portland :)
