It is traditional in Guatemala to have two ceremonies for a wedding. The first will be on Friday 16th, from 3:00 to 6:30pm. It will be the civil wedding. It will be followed by cocktails and snacks. The second ceremony will be on Saturday the 17th, from 4:00 to 11:00pm, and it will be the religious ceremony and reception.
Guatemala's weather during April is warm. The average temperature is 80°F, going between 74°F to 84°F.
Dress code for the civil ceremony: cocktail.
Dress code for the religious ceremony and reception: formal or black tie optional.
