Hello friends and family,

Our BIG day is finally almost here! We will be tying the knot June 28th in an intimate mountain ceremony (where it all began). The following day, we will be leaving for our honeymoon to Cabo San Lucas!

Our Story:

Doug and I both went to Appalachian State, recruited to play our individual sports - football and softball. We both lived in the same dorm, Justice Hall which is where we met. We would run into each other from time to time, and as you all know Doug is very good at smooth talking :) Doug’s version of the story is a little different than mine, but long story short, we were getting ready to go to a party together and he snuck my phone number into his phone. We rode to the party together but went our separate ways once we got there. The following week, he saw me in the hallway when I was walking to a class and asked me what my last name started with. I was very confused as to why he asked me that question. Apparently he had multiple Caroline’s in his phone! After that we began talking more and our first get together was a “study date” with a cookout milkshake, followed by a game of Horse in one of the student rec centers (which I had him sweating because I almost beat him), and then a “romantic” dinner in our student cafeteria! It didn’t take long for this friendship to grow into more! 9 years later and a million memories later, here we are planning our BIG day!
