Dear Friends and Family,

We are honored you will share in our special celebratory trip! We cannot wait to embark on this journey east and create memories with those near and dear to us. Rather than asking our loved ones to make the trek to Denver, our hope by coming to you is to allow for more genuine time with each and every one of you.

While Pennsylvania was the birthplace of our relationship, the decision to move to Colorado did not come lightly. John had already accepted a transfer to Denver in the early stages of our relationship in 2017. This led to a four-month long-distance relationship, resulting in John coming back to Pennsylvania and the two of us moving in together. Several months later, a Cryan vacation to the mountains is what sparked our interest in us building a life together somewhere new. The move together to Denver in 2019 was both empowering and intimidating but we both feel as though it has been the most transformational decision yet.

Coming on our third year of living in Colorado, we have cultivated a lifestyle together that we are proud of. John is flourishing in his role at a Denver-based real estate private equity firm, Ascentris. Sarah became a certified master groomer in 2021 after eight years in the field. After months of planning, Sarah started her mobile dog grooming business, Cruzin' Groomin', in January 2022.

Together, we are committed to making the most of every weekend and exploring this playground that we call home. We can typically be found outdoors with our three dogs; Chanel, Amber, and Cruz. Together, we are hitting the trail on foot or on the bike. Nothing beats a campfire surrounded by friends down a dirt road.

As far as Honeymoon plans, a vacation (without the dogs) to Costa Rica in January 2023 is in the works. We hope to visit for two weeks, splitting the time between the jungle and the coast by incorporating a combination of camping and resort stay. We are looking forward to experiencing new vegetation and wildlife outside of our Colorado greenery. This will be the first time we travel outside of the US together. Your gift will go towards the expenses associated with our stay and experiences planned in Costa Rica.

The next two years are looking exciting, as we hope to continue to challenge ourselves in all avenues. We will also be aggressively looking for a duplex to purchase to allow us to live in one unit while renting out the other. In doing so, we will be making huge strides towards financial freedom by building a very small real estate portfolio. Your gift will help towards the down payment for this purchase.
