Our hope is to make it out to Japan for a few weeks of exploration and befriending the bowing (and apparently aggressive) deer of Nara. Sadly, travel there is quite restrictive at the moment and only essential travel is allowed.

Despite our pleas to the government that tourism really should count as essential travel, and because we’d rather not hack up a lung on a COVID holiday, when and where we go is kind of murky. So, here we are at this somewhat vague alternative to our registry!
