Friends and family, near and far, thank you for hopping onto our site to hear our story. Nina (Saifon) and I started dating in 2019. Nina comes from a small village in Eastern Thailand. I was lucky enough to stay for a month in Thailand with her before the world shut down due to the pandemic. Two years later we were finally reunited here in the US. Shortly after her arrival, we decided to get married at the courthouse in Baltimore. Unfortunately, we weren't able to have guests due to covid. Even though we got married so quickly, I wanted her to experience the traditional proposal. So, Christy (my sister) helped me plan a photoshoot in Annapolis to give her the engagement ring. I got down on one knee and forgot to say "will you marry me." To be fair I thought it was implied. Since we already had a court wedding, we decided not to have a big party. Instead, we will have a small get-together with my siblings and parents. We plan on moving in the near future so we are not ready for home necessities and a registry.
