Dear Friends and Family,

We're so happy to have each and every one of you in our lives. For those who are able make it to the wedding, we can't wait to celebrate that day with you! For those unable to attend, we want to come visit you as soon as possible (so be generous! Haha--kidding). We set up this registry because our near future holds a few expensive and necessary transactions. We will be moving back to the US sometime in the next year and it wont be cheap. We will also need to buy a car when we get there and begin renting. Eventually, we would like to start thinking about a down payment on a home once we settle down. And most importantly, we'd like to begin growing our family.

We hate to be a charity case, but they don't pay postdocs or conservationists nearly as much as you'd think (or maybe it is as much as you'd think...in which case, you've already gotten out your credit card). We by no means expect to fund everything through our registry, but anything you can do to help offset these costs will be forever appreciated. We hope we'll be able to repay the gift one day for you or your family.
