It was February 9, 2018 when Benjamin and Soila first met on board flight #955 of Southwest Airlines in route to Atlanta, GA. As passengers traveling from Fort Lauderdale airport began lining up at the gate, Benjamin took notice of Soila, dressed in what appeared to be a customized track suit and fashionable sneakers, holding a large handbag and looking down at her phone. Benjamin thought to himself, "that is the prettiest girl I've ever seen", and quickly snapped a photo from his phone in a very uncreepy way.
Soila boarded the plane before Benjamin's boarding group was called, and by the time Benjamin walked onto the plane, most of the seats had already been taken. A flight attendant announced over the intercom, "This flight is full. Please take the first available seat that you find." Surprisingly, despite the announcements from the flight attendants, passengers one by one passed the two empty seats next to Soila to head to the very back of the plane. After a few minutes, now near the back of the plane, Benjamin found an available seat... right next to the prettiest girl he'd ever seen. He asked, "Do you mind if I sit here?" to which Soila kindly moved her handbag from the empty seat and scooted towards the window.
And so it began...
Soila and Benjamin hit it off! They talked for most of the flight and agreed to keep in touch after landing. They began dating in December of 2018 and got engaged in the summer of 2020. Soila and Benjamin are looking forward to a long and love-filled life together as they continue to keep God at the center of their union and prioritize His will in their lives. Please lift Soila and Benjamin up in prayer in preparation for this new beginning.

Soila and Benjamin are both single parents coming together to create a blended family. The couple has taken all of two years (to the day) to form a beautiful relationship built on love, faith and demonstrated morals and values. They are believing for a home in which to raise their two kids (10 and 9) and are forever grateful for any contributions given towards their new life together.
