Croatia

We plan on exploring Croatia's country roads and tour the Adriatic Isles on a 2 Week Guided Tour.

Greetings!

Hello friends and family,

Your love, laughter, and company on our big day is the greatest gift of all. However, if you should wish to help us celebrate with a gift, please choose from our honeymoon registry. This will help pay for our dream honeymoon in Croatia! We were led to this location because Jeremy’s lineage is from Croatia, and we would love to experience the country’s beautiful sites, culture, and cuisine.

We are excited to share our special day with you, and we also look forward to providing glimpses into our honeymoon when we return! Feel free to contact us via the link below if you need more info about how the honeyfund works. (It’s safe, secure, and easy.)

Thanks for visiting and we can't wait to see you on our big day!

Love,

Jeremy and Allison

HONEYMOON ITINERARY

Day 1-2: Exploring Zagreb's Twin Towns. The two-tiered capital of Croatia.

Day 3: Venturing into Slovenia to visit the Postojna Caves. The cave train descends into a subterranean world of stalagmites, columns and curtains.

Day 4: Discovering the Jewels of Istria, a heart-shaped peninsula. There is a first-century arena at Pula, scene of gladiatorial battles in Roman Times.

Day 5: Pristine Plitvice National Park. On the UNESCO World Heritage list due to its outstanding and picturesque series of tufa lakes, caves, connected by waterfalls.

Day 6: The Dalmatian Coast to Split. Location of Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace (Game of Thrones City of Meereen filming location).

Day 7-8: Island Hopping to Hvar. Famed for being the sunniest island in the country and an interior with mountain peaks and aromatic fields of lavender.

Day 9-10: Cruising to Korcula, an island filled with quiet coves and small beaches that dot the coastline.

Day 11-14: Ending the trip in Dubrovnik, The Pearl of the Adriatic. Where we will eagerly explore the filming location of Game of Throne's King's Landing :) We'll stop at a shellfish farm to learn about the cultivation and harvest of oysters, also enjoy a Sea-to-Table tasting. Dinner one night at a family home, who will explain how they make olive oil using an antique olive press, before preparing a freshly prepared Croatian meal served with wine. And a sunset cruise around the fabled bay of Dubrovnik.
