This reception and ceremony will be held on the blessed land where Heather Joy grew up. J &K Farm holds a very special place in both Heather and Johan's heart. It is also where Johan-Martin proposed to Heather.
The ceremony and reception will be held next to the pond, behind the corn fields. The ceremony will begin at approx 6:30pm, Sunday, August 1, 2021. A truck or suv is highly recommended to access the site. You can also walk from her parents home (Jim and Katrina Hammons). It is about a 15 min walk, but remember its going to be warm that evening.
This will be a union of two beautiful cultures joining together for you to share in their holy matrimony. There will be a mixture of both American and South African food and music for your enjoyment. Drinks will be provided, but if you have a drink of choice, feel free to B.Y.O.B (Bring Your Own Booze).
We want you to be as comfortable as possible, so whatever you want to wear is fine with us. But keep in mind, there are ticks and chiggers that love the ankles. So boots come highly recommended. If the weather permits, will also be having a campfire at the reception as well.

Rodeway Inn is located about 20 minutes from the farm in Bolivar, TN. Also, Lone Oaks Farm is about 6 miles away and has lodging available to rent.
