Hello friends and family,

2020 Started as a year of optimism for us. A wedding on the horizon, honeymoon to follow, and plans to kickstart our life together. It was going to be the best year of our lives. We planned a wedding for September 5th 2020. March brought the beginning of global shutdowns. We held out as long as we could before ultimately deciding to cancel the celebration. After a summer of isolation, we decided to move forth with our marriage despite having you attend. We got married on the intended day of September 5th 2020 along the banks of the Toutle River in Castle Rock, WA amongst select loved ones, an officiant, and a photographer. We promptly left for a honeymoon after our ceremony on a trip down the Oregon Coast, to Northern California, and everywhere in between. The Wildfires of September 2020 also had different plans for us and we had to divert our itinerary, cancel many of the plans we had, and ultimately we had to cut our honeymoon a few days short. It was quite the experience and will be great story to tell friends and family for years to come. We had the plans to share our vows amongst you all this Summer, but 2021 has been proving to be not much of an improvement. We hope to one day be able to share our vows with loved ones, and we look forward to the day when we can eventually do so. For now, we have decided to move forward with our lives and are actively working towards buying our first home this fall so we can start our lives as a family.
