Hello friends and family,

We are hitting the open road and driving from Montana through Canada and all the way up to Alaska! During the six week trip, we will be stopping at a number of national parks, hiking, camping, and enjoying the great outdoors!

To start, we will be flying from Phoenix to Montana, and from there our journey begins. Our first stop will be Glacier National Park in Montana and then crossing the border to visit Banff National Park and Jasper National Park in southern Canada.

Next we will make the long trek through central and northern Canada enjoying the northern Rocky Mountains and beautiful summer in Canada. The road from Jasper National Park to Alaska is about a 35 hour trip!

The remainder of the six weeks will be spent exploring Alaska! We will start by taking a backpacking trip through Denali National Park which is home to the highest mountain in North America (Mount McKinley)! Then we will fly north to Gates of the Arctic National Park and explore what northern Alaska has to offer! After that, we will travel south to Anchorage where we will go whale watching, fishing, and kayaking. We will spend some relaxing days at hotels and treat ourselves to a spa day or two before having to head back home!

We have created this honeymoon fund because, while we do need new home appliances, we would rather our friends and family have a part in the thrill and adventure of our honeymoon!
