Living in Florida, we have decided to forego the traditional sun and sand honeymoon for a Nordic adventure! Steve had enough bourbon one night to agree to driving around Iceland in a campervan with Katie. We have found numerous "bucket list" items, including exploring lava tubes and ice caves, taking a boat ride through a glacial lagoon, puffin and whale watching, and yes, Steve's beer bath. Fingers crossed the weather will cooperate and we will also be lucky enough to see the Northern Lights! After finishing the Ring Road, we'd like to end our stay with a night of relaxation at the famous Blue Lagoon hotel and spa. We also understand that honeymoon funds are not for everyone and have included an option for a Home Depot gift card. There is always a next home improvement project on the list.
