As most of you already know, our adventurous souls have led us to the decision to elope with a small, intimate ceremony in Yosemite National park on June 21, 2019.

We are lucky to already have a home full of everything we need; however, if you wish to give a gift, you may contribute to our Croatian honeymoon.

Croatia not only encompasses the culture and beauty of other European countries, but it also provides a romantic setting with its medieval architecture, Mediterranean coastline, and stunning countryside. Croatia will bring a perfect balance of adventure and relaxation to our honeymoon. Whether we are kayaking through the blue caves, exploring forts and towers of historic port cities, hiking through national parks, visiting epic waterfalls, touring vineyards, or dining on exquisite cuisine, our adventurous souls will be fulfilled throughout our Croatian honeymoon.

Our honeymoon will begin in Spilt, where we will spend time touring the Gothic and Renaissance architecture, strolling the seaside promenade, visiting Diocletian’s Palace, shopping at Green Market, and swimming at Bacvice Beach. We will stay among the car-free area of Old Town and enjoy the culture of this beautiful city from this central area. Our next stop will be the small, quiet island of Vis. Here we will explore the remarkable Blue Cave of Bisevo. Next we will head over to the glamorous island of Hvar. This island features picture-perfect beaches and verdant olive groves. Here we will rent and ride bikes along the stone streets to tour the old fortress and other historical architecture. We will stay among the 13th century walls in Hvar Town. The next island we will visit is the historical island of Korcula. Here we will experience wine tasting at their famous white wine vineyards, journey through fishing villages, and learn more about the birthplace of Marco Polo. We will stay among the Gothic architecture and beautiful cathedrals located within the city. Our final stop will be Dubrovnik, where we will stroll the limestone streets of Old Town and explore the walls surrounding the medieval town (AKA Kings Landing, for all of you Game of Thrones fans).
