Lara & Michael

They met in Spanish class at Moorpark College in 2014. Lara did not think much of it, but Michael had been scoping her out for quite some time. On one rainy November day, Lara asked Michael for his Spanish test so she could copy it and return it for credit. Amidst the rain, and Michael's fumbling with papers, Lara decided it was best to exchange numbers so he could text the picture of it later on. Michael decided to wait 3 days before he messaged Lara (the classic 3 day rule) and they decided to meet up and study in person at a Starbucks. Lara got there first, setup her computer, books, and had a pen and paper ready to study with Michael. Michael showed up empty handed, bearing only his intentions to ask her on a date. After asking Lara "do you have a boyfriend", she became instantly blush in the cheeks, and needed to rush to the restroom to compose herself. On her return, Lara packed up her book, and they moved to the patio area. They ended up talking all night; discussing life, past relationships, and their future aspirations. Those conversations turned into a 2nd date, which turned into 6.5 yrs of love and now, marriage. They now share 3 fur-babies, a beautiful home, and the passion to commit their lives to each other. Lara and Michael were married at the Santa Barbara Botanical gardens on June 26th, 2021. Now its time to celebrate with all of you!
