First, we'd like to say that your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. The time, effort, and expense of traveling to be with us is something we deeply appreciate, and we are so excited to be able to celebrate this happy occasion with you!

Both of us had a lot of our own stuff before moving in together, and as most of you know, Doug loves cooking, so we've got a lot of the essentials already. We did create a traditional wedding registry at Target that can be accessed at tgt.gifts/lisko. What we're really looking forward to, though, is an adventure in Europe together.

While Doug and Celeste have taken exciting trips separately, we are very much looking forward to our first real adventure as husband and wife. It is because of the lifetime of memories we will gain from this trip that we decided to create a travel honeymoon registry.

Travel is important to both of us. Although we love living in the Midwest, we also enjoy exploring places far away from home. Early on in our relationship, Celeste had the amazing opportunity to study abroad in Italy and Doug had to stay behind. That's why Celeste brought it up as a honeymoon location almost immediately after we got engaged!

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, we have stayed home and have not been able to go out and explore as much as we'd like to. This is one of the many reasons we are especially grateful to explore a new part of the world together. We plan to make this dream come true once the travel concerns surrounding the pandemic have resolved. We don't know the next time we'll be able to do a trip like this together, so we want to make this one count! We'll do our best to document the experience and include it in your much-deserved "thank you" note.
