Seychelles

We wanted to go somewhere the both of us hadn't been to before, somewhere magical and off the beaten track. We looked at all the usual romantic spots and have settled on the idea of going to the SEYCHELLES.

 

Some say that they are the most beautiful islands on earth - 115 granitic and coral islands rising from the sea, around 1,100 miles from the Tanzanian coast. Nature takes priority in the Seychelles; most islands are nature reserves and even on the three most inhabited islands large areas of land are protected.

 

Because the islands are so spread out and best accessed by boat, we started looking at catamaran cruises that would sail us to many of these islands. Sri Lankan Airways will fly us there with a brief stop in Colombo in 17 hours.
