Hello to all of our beautiful friends and family!

For those of you who do not know our story in detail, here it goes:

Spiro and I have known each other for over 17 years. Our journey started a very long time ago when his sister Anastasia and I became friends in college. Little did I know she had a very cute brother.  It was not until I finally met him in person, went over to their house one day, and my heart melted. Let’s just say I had the biggest crush on my friend’s brother, but knowing those are boundaries I could not cross, I kept those feelings to myself. Little did I know he also had a crush on me as we spoke here and there and we all hung out as friends. We both knew that we liked each other. He even tried to kiss me one night when Anastasia and I had a sleepover, but I so effortlessly applied the friends rule, turned my cheek and said NO!! Lol ... Sadly, nothing ever happened and we both moved on with our lives. Years would pass and we would see each other occasionally, from time to time in passing and as friends on Instagram. We also endured different relationships with different people, not knowing that our journey to each other was not over.

Fast-forward...Just a little over two years ago in December of 2018, Anastasia reached out to me on Instagram and asked if I remembered her brother. Little did she know, because I never told her, how big of a crush I always had on him. I was intrigued to hear what she had to say. Nonchalantly I respond, “Absolutely, I totally remember him”. So we spoke on Instagram, she let me know that her brother is coming down from Maryland “single” etc and since she just had baby Angelos, her brother needed a different wing man. Therefore, I gave her my number to give to him so that we could meet up and hang out. Long story short we had one of the most fun and best nights hanging out. We remember it like if it was yesterday. We met up at Sugar in Brickell city center, then went to eat at Casa Tua, stuffed our faces with yummy food and drank wine. It then turned to a night of dancing at Blackbird ordinary. Unfortunately, after that night, nothing happened, although Spiro tried. It just was not our time! After that we would speak here and there on social media. Soon after he sent me flowers and even invited me on trip but I said NO... yet again!!! Then we really lost complete connection. I would think about him occasionally, but I just kept living my life! It was not until July 2020 that I saw Anastasia post something with her brother, and considering I still had feelings, I felt the need to inquire and ask about how he was doing. Little did I know he was moving back to Miami and he had intentions of reaching out to me. On August 11th of 2020 I got a text message from Spiro letting me know he moved back to Miami and he was wondering how I was doing and if I wanted to catch up. First thing I asked him was, “how is your Covid status” lol. Still skeptical, and not knowing of what this could be, I said yes to a phone conversation.  The next day we met up, went on our first date and the rest is history.

Two months later he proposed and I said YES!! Life is an adventure and whatever is meant to be will find its way. We are just so happy and overjoyed that we were given this opportunity and found each other again. It’s another chance at LOVE!! Despite Covid-19 being a bummer, it wasn’t going to keep us from being with each other. Considering we feel like we’ve lost so much time already, we’d like to speed up the process in moving forward with our lives. Hence why he proposed two months after chasing me for such a long time. So for those who know our journey to love, we all know that it’s been long overdue and well-deserved and everyone is so happy that we have found each other. Especially because everyone knows what we had to go through to get to this day. It is so very profound how madly and deeply we love each other, which we can no longer wait to share with the world.

Unfortunately, Covid-19 puts a limitation on how we would like to celebrate our wedding with all our friends and family. Due to the circumstances, Spiro and I have decided to have a very small and intimate wedding. We very much regret not being able to include everybody to celebrate with us, but it is only to keep everybody safe and healthy. With that being said, we would love you to follow our wedding journey. Thankfully, we are blessed to already have a home full of everything that we need.
