Our Celebration!
Where : Summit Lake, Alaska – “The Pad” roughly 1 hour outside Delta Jct.
When : Saturday July 17th, 2021 approx. 3pm to ??? We hope you will camp with us for the night!
Details : We will be providing some BBQ’d meats/fish, a few side dishes, a couple cases of water, some wine, beers, and champagne for toasting and dessert of course! In lieu of gifts we are asking for donations to our Honeymoon fund.
BYO… Firewood and a dish to share, extra drinks if you need them, lots of ice, and your smiling faces!
• Please bring firewood for your campsite and some for the main fire for the party if you can.
• If you plan on staying longer feel free to bring those fun outside toys! ATV’s, SxS’s, boats, dirt bikes, etc! There are tons of trails, a small creek/river, and the lake itself!
• This will be a weekend long event but all are welcome to join for whatever time you have available; we will be out there a few days prior.
• Look for the Balloons! We will have green/blue/yellow/white balloons at the road sign and at the camp site so you can find us!
• Directions : Coming from Delta, it will be down on “The Pad” to the left of Summit Lake; (where Arcticman takes place each spring) it’s the first road to your left after you pass The Monument, the road also leads to a hiking trail to the Gulkana glacier. There is signage for the glacier trail access (look for balloons!). It’s a wide open valley with plenty of parking so you can join our party or set yourselves up a little further away for some privacy if you’d like!
• FYI there is service on the road but none once you drop down into the valley.
