Our wedding will take place at our home, which means in the yard. Ladies, please take that into consideration when you are selecting your footwear! Dress code is not a thing, wear whatever you love! Currently, the weather looks nice (please cross your fingers and toes that it stays that way), but it could be chilly after dark - we will have throws and heaters and fire pits, but don't forget your sweater! Our wedding will be relaxed, fun, and most importantly, very US! We can't wait to celebrate with you, have some cocktails and BBQ with you, and dance to a really fun band with you! Kiddos are welcome (we even have a babysitter for the little ones) unless you want a date night :).
Some logistics: We are asking everyone to park on the long part of the driveway as you turn off of Union Mills Rd (don't worry there will be signs). If you need to pull down into the driveway to drop anyone/anything off, you are welcome to do that and then go park. The ceremony will begin at 4pm, and guests may begin arriving any time after 3:30! Sorry you have to leave work early on a Friday for us ;). After the band is over at 11, we are going to have a bonfire and hang out for however long, so feel free to bring something to sleep on/in and crash! We are totally happy to have this turn into a camp-out as well :)
