Getting married a bit later in life has its perks: we've started to feel professionally stable, more comfortable in our own skin, and shed any romantic notions about home-ownership the day the A/C went out during a Texas, August afternoon. It also means that we've owned most of the "traditional" wedding gifts for about a decade. So, John and I have decided to take a slightly different approach to our registry.

We've talked about visiting Spain ever since we first met, so it seems only fitting that our Honeymoon be a trip to that side of the world. Though we don't have all the specifics ironed out yet, we can assure you of the things we will definitely be doing: sightseeing Gaudi architecture in Barcelona, touring and tasting some of Spain's most celebrated vineyards, tapas tapas tapas, and beach-bumming on the Southern coast.

Whether you'll be in attendance or can't make it out to our soiree, please know how grateful we both are to have such supportive and generous friends and family in our lives.
