Sedona, AZ, USA

Malachi & I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to take some time together for our honeymoon! We've decided we would explore a part of the country that neither of us has explored previously, and we couldn't be more excited.

 

Sedona, AZ will be the base of operations for our adventure. We also plan to explore the surrounding area, including the Grand Canyon. We want to start our trip by flying into Phoenix, renting a convertible, and driving through the desert to Vegas. We felt it would be nice way to start the first couple of nights, and we plan to go to a nice dinner and catch a show.

 

After 2-3 nights we will head towards Sedona, taking the scenic route on a stretch of old Route 66. Once in Sedona, we plan to unwind for a couple days with some hiking, winery tours, and spa treatments. We also want to book a couple of adventures, including a hot air balloon ride, possibly skydiving (if Malachi can talk me into it!), taking an ATV tour, etc. We'll wrap up the trip with another day or two of relaxation and enjoying each others' company, before its back to Charleston to start the next chapter of our lives together!
