After 10 years we realized that our anniversary trip to West Virginia could be the perfect time to get hitched and decided we couldn't wait any longer! We didn't know how to pull an elopement together - during a pandemic, within days of our trip - but everything fell into place and we experienced our dream autumn wedding in the mountains on 10/10/2020. Within the week leading up to our trip, our AirBnB host connected us with an officiant who owns the perfect farm venue; We already had beautiful rings from Andrew's parents; Shyndigz hooked up the cake; Amazon delivered the cake topper and vow books; We got engaged under the stars at our cabin in the mountains; Our amazing friends provided a dress and SURPRISED us with a photographer and flowers; We created a bouquet out of leaves and flowers on the farm minutes before the ceremony; And we got married on top of a mountain! We are so grateful, happy, and excited to be married! This year has been a rollercoaster for everyone, but we're happy we were able to bring some light into our little world. Even though we didn't have any guests at the ceremony, our loved ones were there in spirit and in our hearts. We can't wait to celebrate this new chapter with family and friends as soon as we can throw a safe party with minimal restrictions.
