Hello friends and family,

Thanks for stopping by our down payment fund. As you know, we've been making rentals our home for quite a while now. And, especially since the arrival of little Ava, we've been very eager to settle into a house and make it not just our home, but our home-home -- a place we'll be for a long, long time.

Also, Otis just won't shut up about having a yard. So there's that too.

At this time, we're uncertain of where exactly we'll be searching for a house (dependent upon employment as well), though Bellingham, WA has been at or near the top of our list for some time.

Regardless of where in Washington we'll settle, it has become pretty clear that a down payment is going to require some additional saving on our part, which has become trickier to do with our cost of living increasing.

So, if you find yourself wanting to help, and in a position to help, please know that we are incredibly appreciative -- particularly Otis; he really, really won't shut up about that yard.
