SURPRISE! WE'RE MARRIED!

Jon and I invited our families to a dinner party on July 31st to celebrate our domestic partnership. Instead, we staged a proposal (with some heartfelt words from Jon) and then surprised everyone with a WEDDING!

Patrick was our hero of the day, who not only kept the secret while we quickly planned it all, but got us to the altar and officiated our ceremony.

We're sorry to keep the secret... but the happy tears were so, so, worth it!!

Our big commemorative wedding purchase was an LA-inspired artwork by oil painter John Tierney (the irony is not lost on us!). This piece will hang in our home for years to come.
