We are honored to have you present for such an important day in our lives.

Truly, that's the greatest gift we could ask for!

In lieu of a formal registry, we're requesting contributions to our Honeyfund wish list. (It’s safe, secure, and easy.) Most of the items on the list are fun extras to make our honeymoon even more special! However, the first item is the one we're most excited about.

As we begin our new life together and think to our future, it's important to us to strive towards a carbon-neutral lifestyle. The first item on our registry called "Carbon offset" will be split between two non-profit organizations: Greenwave and Carbon180.

Greenwave is a remarkable non-profit that trains and supports regenerative ocean farmers. They work with coastal communities throughout North America to develop "regenerative reefs" -- vertical ocean farms comprised of shellfish and seaweed that capture carbon and methane from the air, produce yield for food, agriculture, and bioplastics, and create a lucrative business for individuals in the fishing industry and indigenous communities whose fishing livelihoods have been decimated by climate change. Did you know supplementing livestock feed with a small amount of seaweed can reduce methane output by 60%? Or that growing seaweed in 3.8% of federal waters off the coast of California could neutralize the entirety of California's agricultural emissions? (Neither did I, until I learned about Greenwave!
