Hello friends and family,

We have had several of our loved ones reach out to us in regards to our wedding since sharing the news of our engagement. At this time we would like to formally share our plan with everyone as we have had to make the more difficult decision to not have a traditional wedding. There is a number of factors that contributed to us making this decision including but not limited to: ever changing covid-19 regulations, financial distress to both us and loved ones due to the pandemic to be able to travel, and trying to better financially plan for our future in hopes of saving for a house of our own. We are planning an elopement style wedding by hiking in the Shenandoah Mountains to exchange our vows together on October 6th. We have been asked by several individuals already what they can gift us to congratulate us on this new chapter of our lives. We are so blessed to have others still want to gift us irregardless of not having a traditional wedding,it has left us asking what do we actually need. We realize we have everything we need at home but have been faced with more expenses than originally anticipated to conduct our dream wedding/honeymoon. We would like to come on the other side with less debt to be able to have a good down payment for a house.
