Hello friends and family,

We've had the most unfortunate of finances incurred shortly after our wedding -- Not 8 months later, I was fired from a good-paying job because I developed a serious intestinal illness. It's been almost 15 years since my fight has begun, but I finally feel fit enough to travel again, with hopes that my health will not, in any way, ruin this trip.

This trip is for my wife! I adore every single thing about her, but mostly, for her support for my long-term illness. I can't even begin to tell any of you just how many plans have been ruined for years on end due to my health.

I'm almost 49 now, and due to my illness, we're pretty much dead broke -- mostly due ALL to me.

So, I've decided to ask for help because she's working a job that she doesn't enjoy very much -- a manager at the largest brick & mortar chain still killing it. This pays okay & okay benefits, but she almost NEVER gets time off from there.

So, yes, I'm begging for help financially so that we can finally take our decade hold honeymoon.

I need you all to know that NOTHING HERE is either an embellishment, nor a lie.

I've never collected unemployment nor disability during all of this

& I suppose that if I did, I'd probably save enough for this vacation that I have in mind -- but just taking taxpayers money for a vacation seemed wrong, so I decided that it'd be much more honest if I asked for help from some fellow Americans directly.

I'm only looking for @ $6,000 for a week for both of us, including airfare, just to spend a week or 8 days in a Sandals Resort in Jamaica. I'm not needing a month at a Club-Med -- Just a place that you don't need much of any cash and ALL of the food & drinks AND entertainment is included. My wife would be reduced to tears of happiness for such a selfless gift. You might even make a friend or 2 for life, as we would NEVER FORGET the tremendous generosity.
