First before we say anything about us, we are so thankful for each and every one of you. The fact that you are even looking into our registry means you are someone who has had a hand in shaping the people we are, and the life we are about to start sharing together. Genuinely from both of us, Thank You.

Early in our relationship we started to discuss vacations and things we would love to go see. After getting engaged and walking through the Duke Gardens we were discussing the beauty of the red bridge over the lake and how the flower pedals were falling and at the same time we locked eyes. Since that day we have been discussing how and when we would be able to fly over to Tokyo during the Cherry Blossom Festival. Since then we have also established that it would be a tragedy if we were so close and did not take the time to visit Bejing and experience the culture and history of these two amazing cities.

While this is the objective we know getting started on our new life together will not allow us to just take off on this wondrous vacation as soon as we are married. We want to be intelligent with our finances and be sure to be in a good spot with Brittany's school and our home life first. During this time we will be saving for airfare, hotels, excursions, transportation, and all the weird food Nick is going to eat on Wangfujing Street in Beijing :).

We thank you so much for any assistance you would like to provide in helping us build a home together, and advancing the timeline for this wonderful trip we are planning. But more than that we love you, and we can't wait to see you at the wedding.
