September is peak season for Siena, so we recommend you book your accommodation straight away. We suggest the hotels below as they are very convenient, we have secured reduced rates and they will be used as bus "pick-up/drop-off" points during the weekend (there are not many taxis in the area!).
Villasanpaolo Spa Hotel (link above):
The hotel is 10 minutes' drive from San Gimignano. It has an amazing view of Tuscany, is very comfortable and has a fab spa.
It will be one of the bus "pick-up / drop-off" points during the weekend.
The hotel is holding 30 rooms for us until 29 February. We have secured the following reduced room rates:

Hotel Relais La Cappuccina & Spa (link above):
The hotel is 5 minutes' drive from San Gimignano. Another lovely hotel with a spa.
It will be one of the bus "pick-up / drop-off" points during the weekend.

Hotel La Collegiata (link above):
The hotel is 5 minutes' drive from San Gimignano, and is right next to Hotel Relais La Cappuccina, which is one of the bus "pick-up/drop-off points". It is full of Tuscan elegance and is recommended if you want a treat for a few days!
We have blocked 17 rooms and have secured an 8% discount for you. The room rates are as follows:
6 x Standard Double Rooms - 200 Euros per room per night
8 x Superior Double Rooms - 236 Euros per room per night
3 x Deluxe Double Rooms - 275 Euros per room per night

Taxis / Mini-vans:
There are no standard taxi companies operating in the area. Uber (and similar companies) do not operate in the area.
People tend to get around the area relying on a small network of professional mini-van drivers. The vans are typically 7-person capacity and the drivers speak English. There are apparently no smaller sized taxis.
Please hire the mini-vans in small groups, in order to ensure there are enough vans to go around (as there are a limited number and it is high season), and you can reduce the taxi cost per head!

WEATHER:
The average weather in Siena in September ranges from 60°F / 15°C to 80°F / 27°C. It will hopefully be hot and sunny, but come prepared!
BABYSITTERS:
We have chosen to make both days adults-only - we have limited numbers and are looking forward to partying with you all!
