Greetings!
First, we would like to thank everyone for being part of such a special moment in our lives. An important part of getting married is being able to celebrate with people we love, and we are blessed to have so many special people in our lives. Just as other elements of our wedding, our registry will not be traditional. We’ve built a home together and do not have a need for items that can be registered. Travel for us has been difficult at times as we prefer to bring our dogs along to keep the family together, and our goal for a honeymoon was to drive across the country. Your typical family truckster vacation seeing all the amazing sites this country has to offer, with an extended stay in Oregon to spend days hiking through as many redwood state park trails as humanly and caninely possible. Rather than spending money for a one-time vacation on our honeymoon, we would prefer to make an investment towards our future in the form of a small tow-behind camper. Not only will it be perfect for a cross country trip, but it will completely upend the ease and cost for our travels permanently. And for us, travel isn’t always vacation; often it’s trying to visit many of you, our friends and family that are out of state. So, for those who choose to give us a wedding gift, we would ask for a contribution to the down payment of our camper. For those who may not prefer that option, we have also asked for gift cards towards Home Depot (as there is no shortage of random tools and supplies a home always needs). We’re hoping this keeps things more fluid and simple for us all. We look forward to seeing every single one of you on our wedding day!

More Information:
Quite a few people have been curious as to what to wear. This is not an overly formal event, with no color scheme other than earth tones. Casually formal is just fine, but make sure to wear shoes that will be comfortable walking through grass and gravel.
