Originally, we had decided on a honeymoon cruise to the Caribbean, however, because Covid still seems to be deciding whether it's going to completely upend the cruise industry again, we've decided that now probably isn't the best time to book a cruise. We're still planning on going on a honeymoon cruise at some point, but it'll be several months after the wedding at the soonest.

So, as a result of that, we plan on taking an extended weekend "minimoon" right after the wedding. We've booked a romantic log cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains on AirB&B. (We'll be road tripping) We're excited to have a chance to celebrate, unwind, and decompress before we set sail to a tropical island.

We created this honeyfund in the event that anyone would want to contribute directly to our honeymoon (or "Minimoon") as opposed to giving a gift from our other registry. Because we've lived together for a few years, we have most of what we need for our home already. The one thing we don't have, though, is the experience of a vacation together. We're determined to make sure that we go on a honeymoon, even if it's a different one than we had pictured, so any gift given towards that would be very much appreciated!! ♥️
