Hello friends and family,

As many of you know, Nabil and I have gone through a five year, across-the-world journey to finally end up together! Since meeting and falling in love in Egypt in 2012, we were able to overcome the odds of surviving international long-distance, always putting each other first. And now, our dream is coming true, and we want to celebrate it with you all!

Because our relationship took an unusual route, we wanted our honeymoon to be the same. We are planning a 6 month backpacking trip throughout Latin America, starting in Mexico and traveling all the way down to Argentina. Our goal is not to just explore and have fun; we want this to be a meaningful experience for others as well. We plan to document our travels through a video blog, as well as volunteer in various communities to really understand each country's culture and social realities.

We are honored you will share in our special day, both in Cairo and Chicago. Your presence is our gift! Instead of receiving furniture and other household goods, we would be so grateful for contributions to this dream adventure. Thank you so much, and we are excited celebrate with you!
