We plan to begin our tour d'Italia on a real Roman holiday starting in the capital city. We will stay in centrally located town of Monti, said to be cozy but posh, a metro stop away from Vatican City & Colosseum. We'll do a lot of sight seeing here and a food tour! Envision us scootering around bellies full of gelato, espresso and communion wafers.

After a busy time in the Eternal City we will toss our coins in the Trevi Fountain and hop a train to Naples to learn about the birth of pizza. Our vision in Napoli is to spend time in the Posillipo neighborhood, a lush hillside town known for classy cocktails, cutesy beaches, and sweeping views of the gulf. In Naples, we'll do a day trip to Pompeii, visit the San Gennaro Catacombs, and another street food tour before catching a boat to Capri.

Capri! The capital of gay Italia! Capri is known for sailing, discotheques and emerald grottos. If we're feeling ambitious we'll explore the Grotta Azzurra, a massive flooded cave with an opening into the sea, and hike up to Monte Solaro, the highest point of the island.

The last stop on our Honeymoon will be a drive down the Amalfi Coast in a little Fiat where we plan to stay in the town of Positano, known for it's stunning location, pristine beaches, shimmering turquoise waters, and colorful hillside houses. It will be a magical whirlwind full of pasta, sun, aperol and romance.
