Hello friends and family!!

We are thrilled to announce that we got married on

September 23rd, 2020!

As much as we wish we could have had a huge party and invited absolutely everyone, due to the state of COVID-19 and wanting to keep all of our loved ones and ourselves safe, we decided to elope. We had a photographer and videographer there to capture the evening to ensure we are able to share in this incredible moment with all of you! And eventually, when we are in the clear to have large gatherings, we will be having a reception celebration. We are so stoked for the day we all celebrate, eat, and dance together!

Where we are now!

We moved to Placerville, California! The Bringolf's have invited us to live in the apartment above the garage to be near family while saving money. The apartment is currently under construction, but for the time being we are staying in Abbi's parent's adorable travel trailer! Abbi got a job at a local coffee shop (praise report!!) and Shane will be working as a server at a local, brand new Taphouse as soon as it opens, hopefully within the next week or so (praise report!!). Both of our jobs are less than a mile away, and we feel incredibly blessed! During this season, we will be saving money to pay off Shane's car and steward intentionally as we grow and work towards financial health. We will also be working towards our goal of buying and renovating a sprinter van that will be our mobile "home-base" as we follow where God leads us. (If you decide you want to give a cash gift, we would like you to know it will be going directly towards the van fund!!) We are aware that anything can change- openly expectant for whatever is to come!

This year has been full of difficulty and full of growth.

In the midst of all of the uncertainties, we feel overwhelming peace knowing the Lord has had His hand on our relationship since day one. It has been genuinely so wild to see Jesus in each other- and to watch one another grow. Quarantine, along with so many other difficulties (and adventures) has shown us how beautiful walking together in every high & low can truly be. Wedding websites are strange, and words can't always express how you feel- but simply put, WE ARE SO IN LOVE!

Thank you thank you thank you for being part of our story! Whether it be supporting us financially or through prayers and kind words, we feel incredibly blessed, encouraged, and loved!

P.S. our wedding day went pretty much nothing like planned, but it was absolutely perfect in every way. Can't wait till you all see the video and pictures!
